ABOUT ME

My name is Anna Festa, and I am a professional artist and art teacher with over 43 years of experience working across many mediums—including scratchboard, acrylic painting, drawing, pen and ink, and jewelry. I have always believed that a true artist should never be limited to a single medium. For me, art is versatile, alive, and meant to flow wherever the soul leads.

When I create, I step into a space of wonder. Scratchboard allows me to reveal light hidden in darkness. Acrylics let me explore bold colors and movement. Drawings and pen & ink give me the intimacy of pure line and detail. Each medium has its own language, its own mood, and together they form a complete expression of who I am as an artist.

But art for me is not only about creating—it is about teaching and sharing. Over the years, I have taught art classes for beginners, advanced students, children, and adults, always with the same mission: to guide people to uncover the creativity they already hold inside. My students describe me as patient, kind, and compassionate. I know that taking a class can feel intimidating, but I create a safe, encouraging space where mistakes are part of the journey and every mark is a step toward growth.
